This is a one of a kind poster that was used prior to the actual printing of the theater poster. According to an sale house in Beverly Hills this poster was used when the graphics house was planning the layout prior to the release of Star Wars in 1977. This is printed on card stock and has never been folded, it has been stored rolled in a tube. This poster was contracted by George Lucas. At the last minute George Lucas contacted brothers Tim & Greg Hildebrandt to design the first Star Wars poster. Looking at the pics you will see the Hildebrandt name embedded in the poster under the image of Luke Skywalker.
