Rare Roseville Pottery Tall Sunflower Vase #487-7 Circa 1930 - Mint For Sale
This is a fabulous piece of authentic Roseville pottery in the Sunflower pattern. This pattern was introduced in 1930 and is a wonderful example of early American “Art” Pottery. This beautiful vase has a textured background of brown, green and blue and features four large yellow sunflowers on long green stems all around the vase. The colors on this piece are gorgeous and this is considered one of Roseville’s most beautiful patterns. The Sunflower pattern, which was created during the depression era has also become one of Roseville’s most sought after and collectable lines of pottery. This vase is a very nice size standing 7” tall and is in MINT condition. There are no chips, no cracks and no repairs. Note there is fine glaze crazing seen on the bottom and a tiny bit of extra glazed over clay on the outside. The inside of this vase is also clean and flawless. The Sunflower line is unmarked but this piece would be numbered 487-7 according to Roseville in All Its Splendor Pottery Guide. Packaged professionally and delivered immediately.
