IMPORTANT offerDING AND PAYMENT INFORMATION: IF YOU PLAN TO offer ON THIS ITEM AND ARE THE HIGH buyer I WOULD LIKE TO ASK THAT YOU DO NOT PAY ME UNTIL YOU RECEIVE MY INVOICE NOT THE INVOICE THAT IS GENERATED IMMEDIATELY AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE SALE BY . now has rules that all sellers MUST ship items for which they have been paid within one business day without exception. Those who follow my sales and have bought from me over the years know that I have always had a policy of shipping within 24 hours of a sale (see my response), however, there are times when I am out of town unexpectedly for a house call, an sale or an estate call and it simply is not possible to get to the post office in time. Also, if you find that there is more than one item you are interested in offerding on over a given time period and would like to take advantage of combined shipping, please again, DO NOT pay me until the last of those items you're watching has finished. I will then send you an invoice with an adjusted shipping fee which saves on postage.. I never charge a "handling fee". I would rather wait a few days on a payment and extend you the advantage of lower shipping fees than to be paid immediately - not ship - and then be scored negatively by for not shipping soon enough.Offered in this sale is one of the nicest pieces of Napoleonic porcelain I have had the pleasure to offer on . This two handled covered cup and saucer or under tray has a MUSEUM QUALITY hand painted scene on the cover that is signed WAGNER to the lower right and RETOUR D'ELBE on the inside. Both the cup and the saucer are marked with a red beehive. There is a gold flower on the underside of the saucer. This set was probably decorated in Dresden by Wagner on Vienna porcelain in the late 1800s or very early 1900s. The decoration is in the style of Sevres. The detail and quality of the painting and the gold gilt is outstanding. The background color is a bluish green iridescent. Be sure to enlarge and zoom each of the images for a close up view of the decoration. The condition is MINT. There are absolutely no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or restoration. In addition, there is no wear at all to the original gold gilt. Finest possible example of what is likely a unique one of a kind set. Please feel free to email with any questions. I always guarantee everything that I sell to be as described. This set is being sold WITHOUT A RESERVE as long as there is an opening offer. High buyer to pay $8.00 shipping/ including insurance - inside the United States. The last three images illustrate other items that I have or will be listing on including 20+ pieces of Doulton series ware and more than fifty pieces of American and Italian studio art glass including 30+ perfume bottles. You are only offerding on the Napoleon covered cup and saucer in this sale. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN offerDING ON MORE THAN ONE ITEM, I DO OFFER COMBINED SHIPPING WHICH SAVES ON POSTAGE.INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: All international packages under four pounds are mailed International First Class mail unless you specifically request Priority Mail which is, of course, more costly.
