However, this may be an Iowa Chief, as indicated on the back in pencil: "Sioux or Iowa Chief by Hamilton + Hoyt c1870." SIZE. Approximately 3 1/2 x 7 inches. CONDITION. Faded. Some spots, specks, and scuff marks to both sides. Mount is soiled, front and back, and has wear around edges and at corners. APPEARANCE. Average contrast. Well lit and sharp face.
