Rare Uaw Record -- Martin Luther King, Jr. -- 2 Speeches -- "i Have A Dream":
Rare 12" lp record produced by the UAW Education Department, circa mid-60's. Side 1 Is Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "Side by Side" speech delivered at the United Auto Workers' 25th anniversary dinner, Cobo Hall, Detroit, on April 27, 1961, with introduction by UAW Vice President Leonard Woodcock. Side 2 is Rev. King's famous "I Have A Dream" speech delivered at the March On Washington, August 28, 1963, with introductions by civil rights and labor leader A. Philip Randolph and UAW president Walther Reuther.
Unfortunately the record does have scuffs and scratches. It plays, though noisily, and has a couple of spots where it skips. The side 1 label has a spot of price sticker residue.Nevertheless, a worthy addition to a UAW or labor union or civil rights collection due to its rarity. Nothing can be found on the internet about this record.
