Rare Vintage 1940's Bowey's Hot Chocolate Soda Fountain Container For Sale
I am offering this Bowey's Hot Chocolate Canister for sale.These were used in ice cream parlors and soda fountains in the 1940's. The piece says Bowey's Hot Chocolate An Energy Drink (Not Cocoa) and has an image depicting "Black Americana" The insized enamel lettering and images color is in very good condition.The aluminum container has a hinged lid with the hinge being original. The inside is clean and the cover fits well. There are water spots on the container that are typical with aluminum. I have not tried to remove them, will leave that to the successful buyer to decide the level of shine he wants.There are two tiny dings on the lid that are not very visible and consistent with age and use of a piece of this age. The slight angle on the lid knob is consistent with manufacturing. Enjoy and Thanks for you consideration.
