This plate was used by the W. Atlee Burpee Company to print promotional material for their Planting Clock.
Excellent condition.Could be used to print today.
Please note the two photographs take in front of a mirror.They allow you to read the text more easily.
It includes a picture of the Planting Clock with call-outs to highlight specific features, as well as the order form.The clock sold for $49.95.
The advertisement was created by the famous advertising firm of Ogilvy & Mather, Inc.
The bottom of the plate includes instruction that the advertisement appear inThe N.Y. Times, Wall Street Journal, and the Christian Science Monitor and on what dates.
