Up for sale we have a very rare and unique Marshall JCM 800 tube amp head. The chassis is from a 4212 50w 212 combo (made in 1987), and the cabinet is from a JCM 900 series head. In addition, this is a Canadian version which has the unique on/off and standby switch combination. I was tired of lugging around the combo, and I wanted the versatility of using different speaker cabs, so I very carefully, and professionally made this conversion. A few subtle and careful adjustments had to be made to the cabinet to make everything fit and look proper. The faceplate has two trim pieces on both edges as the JCM 800 chassis is not quite as wide as the cabinet. They are just held is place with doubled sided tape, a better adhesive would be needed for a more permanent job (if desired). No modification have been made to the JCM800 chassis. A small section of the reverb tank was carefully cut and folded for best fitment.The amp sounds great and looks great. Yes, all the knobs are upside down, but that adds character!!! The power tubes are Grove Tube brand. A non-original Marshall footswitch is included, and works perfectly to switch between the two channels, and to turn the reverb on and off. The cabinet itself is in very nice condition. Overall, its a sweet amp that I am confident the high buyer will love!! Shipping is to USA & Canada only. No Exceptions. Just to be 100% clear, this is a model 4212 JCM 800. In the \"item specifics\" section of the listing it is described as a 2204. That is not right, and I cannot change it at this point in the sale. Once again, this is a model 4212 JCM 800. Thanks
