original ww1 1917 bayonet marked W for WINCHESTER and issued with the ww1 12ga winchester model 1897 trench shot gun as well as fits on the p17, eddystone and remington model 1917 30-06 rifles. this bayonet clearly shows its age of being over 100 years old. blade is heavily pitted, wood has plenty of dents and dings and i believe it is missing the retaining piece. aside from its very rough cosmetic appearance it is tight, solid and original ww1 issued as well as a very rare vartiation of the 1917 bayonet.see pictures for details, any questions just ask, US shipping only, THIS IS PART OF A LARGER COLLECTION OF KNIVES BOTH FIXED BLADE AND FOLDING SO PLEASE SEE MY OTHER LISTINGS FOR SIMILAR ITEMS
