Here we have a very historically interesting and absolutely unique piece of
Caterpillar history.
The photographic album/brochure seems to have been assembled for the the New Zealand Caterpillar dealers
during the mid/late 1920\'s, judging by the accompanying text, hand typed on to each page, the book was made for assisting salesmen in promoting the Caterpillar brand, maybe used by their traveling salesmen?
The leather covered photographic album is embossed in gold with the 1925/31 Caterpillar logo.
Inside are 52 paper leafs, and 60 original photos of mainly Caterpillar Two Ton tractors in many different roles, along with a few photos of the model \'Thirty\'.
Size is 20 1/2 cm/ 13cm
Some pages are a little dog eared, but all remain white and bright with no tears.
All photos are in excellent order.
All photos except one taken in Australia have been made in New Zealand.
Most photos have an accompanying hand typed text, some examples;Mud? The \"CATERPILLAR\" likes it!
