Rare c.1930 FERRO TOSO BAROVIER FTB Murano Art Glass ELEPHANT

This FERRO BAROVIER TOSO Elephant is a rare find. Thank you to a helpful collector who has examples with original FTB labels.
Recognisable early features:-
White Paste Tusks
Egg Yolk Yellow Murrine Eyes
Separately Blown Glass Legs, Body, Head and Trunk
Ridged backs and furrowed brows to the head.
Great "movement" in the execution that only a master glass
blower can perform.
Ridged Trunk typical of FTB elephants
Now the finish to this elephant is very unusual and very hard
to capture in photos (I have tried hard)
It is "fumed" that is to say slightly iridiscentall over ...
There is also silver leaf, gold leaf and black leaf.
So you see theoxidised gold leaf, silver leaf areas under the glass
and also gold leaf on the surface and through the glass as you
see the gold side of theoxidised goldleaf. Just to add to the mix
some of the oxidised gold leaf has opalised so it appears gold in sunlight.
Size
Good sizeapprox 25cminlength and 16cm tall
Condition
2 areas to mention (please see photos)
(1) Tall has a little damage to end
(2) There is a small annealing fracture in the body
behind the head approx 0.5 inch in length
The bottom of the feet show wearat thecontact points
consistant with an age of approx 80 years!
