Description
Early 19th century German fine and large solid silver parcel-gilded monumental cup and cover circa 1800. The large inverted campana-shaped cup, fully and richly engraved with scrolls andmythological subjects within medallions. Standing on a knotted cast stem of angels and lion masks to a tapering domed foot. The lift domed lift off cover with a solder wearing a helmet finial holding a spear in one hand and a shield in the other.
