We have been building oursweptframes for a few years now.
Spec's; 8" kick in rear,4"swoop infront.Stamped Model A front crossmember.DOM tubing rear crossmember.
106" wheelbase,3" stretch over stock A. Added length is between firewall and front crossmember.
2"x4" .120 wall rectangular tubing.Full length taper on front rails.Front horns unboxed.
All jointsmiter cutand TIG welded.Built in our own jig and fixtures. Our spring pads,dogbones,front frame horns etc are water jet cut.
Center section includes ladder bar mounts and our adjustable transmission mount.
sale is for one frame that includes front and rear crossmember (with spring pad) center section with ladder bar mounts
and adjustable trans mount.Does not include motor mounts (shown in some pictures) We can SBC mounts,shock ,Vega etc,at extra cost (very reasonable)
With this set up you can run just about any engine trans in your hot rod.
Fits all Model A Ford bodies 1928-31.Roadsters,coupes,sedans,pick ups. (can not use fenders)
Cars shown are our customers projects for samples. Hemi and a four speed? yup. SBC auto?, Flathead and 5 speed? why not !
The frame is designed for the front axle to have spring on top.Why? Because it works.That's the way Henry Ford designed it.
I hate to see a tie rod out front.Yucky. rear is ladder bar and transverse (aka buggy) spring.Simple strong and it works.
