Here isaRe-Vamped Mid-CenturyUnbrandedVintageSilk Shirtwaist DayDress. This was faded beyond wear; so, this was dyed a Light Orange to compliment the Orange in the dress. This blended with the existing colors well & now has a Peach Glow. The dress still has fading; but, now has all over coloring. Has a lot of character & the cute faux Tortoise shell belt comes with. ThishasaRoyalty print w/Scolls &a Lion in the Orange design. Thisfeatures a double rounded collar w/revers, tailoreddarts, cuffed sleeves, thread belt loops (original belt is missing),a Full PleatedSkirt,& material covered buttons w/metalhook & thread eye at waistfor closure.There are also several small safety pins around the placket that were left in place. I recommend Dry Cleaning.The measurements suggest a Size Medium, waist is 30\". Since the measurements are of the garment and not from a size tag, I recommend comparing measurementswith a similar dressthat fits you well. Instructions for measuring your own garment below, if needed, along with measurements.

The mannequin is 5\' 10\" tall, has a 34\" bust, a 26\" waist, and a 34\" hip.

Tip:How to measure a similar dress thatfits you well for comparison. Lay dress flat with front side up and either buttoned or zipped. Then measure across, side to side, for the bust (underarm to underarm), approximately6\" down from underarms measure across for waist, then about8\"down from waist measure across for the hips. Sweep is across at hem. These measurements are doubled; the following are not.Turn dress over to the back, still zipped or buttoned, & measure across at the top shoulder seam to shoulder seam for shoulders. Measure sleeves from top shoulder seam to sleeve hem. Then measure from theseamunder collar in the middle to hemfor the length.
