Real Human Skeleton – Medical Antique – Awesome No Reserve For Sale

***NOTE NOTE NOTE***

Okay...last time I listed a skeleton, yanked the sale...their stated reason was "funerary items that have been interred" are not allowed. Hopefully, they’ll actually read the sale this time. Please note:

This skeleton is

(duh!)

This is a sale. You are offerding on one fully articulated authentic human skeleton...looks to bevery old…also looks like it was just dug up (but not really - Jeeze)!! WOW, talk about personality…this’ll really get the neighbors talking!! We’re not talking pretty & bleached & whitefolks…this is the real deal.

You can view a ton more pictures by viewing the box below:

This skeleton is at least 150 years old and appears to be that of a fairly petite female. I call her “Daisy.” She is approximately 60” tall, and stands very elegant! She came from an OddFellows Lodge in the mid 1800s, and was used in theirsecret “death” rituals. (That’s freaky enough…I find it ironic that part of the OddFellows credo is "Bury The Dead" but each lodge hadits own set of human remains in a casket in the closet. Go Figure.) In fact, this gal has spent the last several decades safely packed away...only having been brought out a handful of times.

Anyway, the skeleton appears complete – right down to the pinky toes and 25 teeth!! Likewise, this lady appears to have been born with a severely deviated septum (which you can see in the close-up pics of the nasal cavity). When I first saw this, I thought the nasal bones were damaged, but in fact, it appears to be a birth defect in the bone…looks like she probably couldn’t breathe out of the right side of her nose at all. That defect alone makes this an exceptionally rare specimen. Also, this skeleton has the original mummified cartilage breastplate (NOT rubber or plastic). There are a few chipped & broken teeth and a couple of repairs here & there, including a couple of replacement retaining nuts, but nothing serious. There is also a slight bit of paint overspray on the right-rear shoulder blade, but it's very insignificant (see pics). The original brass wiring and hardware is in very good shape. This is truly a stunning specimen.

Seriously,it really issobering to realize this once was a living breathing human being...full oflife, dreams, fears, sorrows and joys. I could spend hours wondering about the lives (and deaths) of these people. Absolutely fascinating. Please treat it with due respect.

Feel free to email me with any questions or offers & I will try to answer to the best of my knowledge. Also, I reserve the right to close the sale early if I choose.

Bottom line is...You want a real human skeleton? I want it out of here. I'm just clearing out all the freakin' clutter I've managed to accumulate once again. Remember, this is a sale, so someones gonna take this incredible piece home for a steal! Grab it while you can, 'cause it'll be gone real soon.

Thanks, Good Luck and...
