Creating these special little \"gifts\" has become a passion of mine. My babies have been adopted all over the world to very happy moms, dads and families. This unique art form gives me the opportunity to use my natural artistic abilities in combination with my love of babies. As a multiple award winning artist and prototype artist, I am always striving to create the most realistic and beautiful baby. Art cannot be rushed, so, no baby is ever rushed. Each and every baby receives my best. This baby is no longer a child\'s toy but rather a collectible heirloom for the child in all of us. Baby Cassia will capture your heart as she has mine. She has such a classic beautiful newborn face with such sweetness in her beautiful expressive eyes! She was sculpted by Sylvia Manning. Cassia is a very limited sold out edition. Slyvia has totally captured all the innocence of a precious newborn baby. She has outdone herself in making the most perfect baby imaginable. The detail and realism of this baby are AMAZING! I used genesis heat set paint in many thin transcluent layers to achieve the depth in the skin. This process takes several weeks to accomplish but it gives a true and lifelike skintone. No detail has been overlooked on this precious baby. has many different color undertones to bring true to like depth to her skin. The skin tones are sheer perfection. This baby is so precious and beautiful she just brings a smile to your face!

I not only strive for perfection in the skin tones of my babies but also I work very hard to get the head details and scalp as accurate as I can. I am just thrilled with the way her hair came out. Cassia has veining and detailing all over her adorable head. I micro-rooted golden blonde mohair from APLUS Mohair. This hair is soft, shiny and wonderful to touch. I have sealed the inside of her head with a waterproof glue. This will allow you to gently wash the hair just like a real baby. The hair has been rooted with a swirl crown in natural growth pattern. I have used a very fine needle (43g) to achieve ultimate realism. You will not see any unslighty plugs of hair.
