Beautiful 13\" Recknagel Bisque and composite Doll circa 1900 dressed in lace and embroidered two piece outfit with net petticoat. Tucks in front and back on blouson with lace edged cravat. Original mohair wig with attached flower and pearl crown. Mother of Pearl heart shaped pin adorns neck. She has striking brown eyes that are fixed and four upper teeth. Finely painted brows and lashes. There is a fine crack that extends from above her left brow to the back of her head and has been securely glued and is barely noticeable. Hands are rather primitive, but have the red cuticle curves. Body is composite and has been re painted in some areas. There are a few tiny holes in skirt and two faint spots on skirt. Blouson is slightly darker than skirt.
