Red Wing Hamm's Beer Bank

Made in the 1950s by Red Wing Pottery for Theo Hamm Brewing Company in St. Paul, Minnesota. This Hamm's Beer Bank is very difficult to find in suchexcellent condition. I've had this little fella for many years and never inserted a coin. I doubt it was ever used by a previous owner other than for display on a shelf.

Notice the photoof the feet bottoms that shows neither foot has been broken or chipped away in an attempt to get out a coin(s) that may have been deposited at some point over these many years..

The bank has no hairline cracks, no cracks, no crazing of the glaze, and has not been damaged in any way.

Notice that all letters of Hamm's, "From the Landof Sky Blue Waters", thetrees, birds, and lakeare fully painted.

There are no chips along the slot for inserting money.

The white spot in the left bottom of the “H” of the word Hamm's is about 1/16 inch in diameter. This white spotis under the glaze….this is not a chip in the paint, but is probably from a speck of paint bursting during firing of the glaze.

To my knowledge, this Hamm's Beer Bank has never been damaged or repaired in any way.

I think you will agree this is one of the finest Hamm's Beer Banks you may ever see.
