This 6 sided three page letter from Prince Charles is dated April 7, 1980,a mere three months before his wedding to Lady Diana Spencer. Written on official Buckingham Palace royal stationery.He speaks of being in the hospital in 1908 in Florida.April 7, 1980Dear _______(Sellers name known to buyer only)Just a note from sun-swept Bahamas to let you know that I have started doing my runs along the seashore in preparation for my return to the racecourse and all that is happening is that my feet are being worn down to nothing by the unaccustomed sand.Talking of race courses- I am totally confused as to which course we are going to! Is it in Wales or in Cheshire? I also wondered weather I could bring a young lady (was it Diana) to watch the riding out on Tuesday morning who would then want to come and watch the race on /Saturday?Perhaps I could give Jon a ring about all this when I get back next Monday?I spent last weekend attempting to play polo in Palm Beach. Weather ugly, the whole thing was an unmitigated disaster because I ended up in hospital suffering from heat exhaustion & total dehudration afer spedning the morning playing (can\'t read) & then playing 6 (can\'t read) of fairly high goal.Polo at 3:00 in 91 degree and 100% humidity! I have never known such and never been so exhausted. In fact I thought I was dying when I got back to my room & then ended in hospital they had me on a drip all night! What I really needed of course were some of _________ (can\'t read) pills! All I can say is thank God one doesn\'t have to ride round Sandown in 90o of heat after cominh from a steady 40o or 50o!
