This lot began manufacturing in 1941 by Reed and Barton in the ever popular Burgundy pattern. This lot will need aquick polishing. This set grades well above average and displays beautiful luster! The chest is like new. A Reed & Barton chest with handles for easy lifting, a drawer for extra storage, and a name plate for monogramming. This set will consist of the following pieces: (12) 9 1/8" dinner knives, (12) 7 1/8" dinner forks, (12) 6 1/2" salad forks, (24) 6" teaspoons, (6) 6 1/4" round soup spoons, (12) 6 1/4" hollow handled butter spreaders, (3) 8 3/8" serving spoons, (1) 8" cold meat fork, (1) 6 1/2" gravy ladle, (1) 10 1/8" hollow handled pie server, (1) 6 1/4" jelly server, (1) 5 7/8" pickle fork, (1) master butter knife, and (1) sugar spoon. This lot weighs 103.67 ounces or 2939.1 grams. We always start our sterling at melt prices. This is a wonderful opportunity to add to your existing collection or a great time to start collecting something new. Thislot is monogrammed on the reverse side with the letter D. Monograms can be removed by a jeweler or silversmith. Other than that which may have been mentioned, thereare no flaws.
