This is a listing for a nicely restored, vintage Pioneer meerschaum estate pipe contained in its original case. An early Pioneer probably produced in 1943. It has been reamed/cleaned & polished and will need very little (if any) additional cleaning to ready it for firing.
About 5 5/8\" long, 1 7/8\" bowl height, 13/16\" bore opening and 1 1/2\" chamber depth. Weight is about 1.46 oz. or 41 grams.

Fine condition. Top of bowl refinished exposing the original meerschaum. Several fills noted in the meerschaum. Interesting duel tone coloration. Bowl plateau is clean and free of carbon deposits. Decorative sterling collar with English 1943 hallmark. Original screw-in stem aligns properly, is clean/shiny and without bite impressions. Red plastic case opens/closes correctly with exterior marked: \"Pioneer Pure Meerschaum\". Interior contains a foil sticker marked: \"Turkish Meerschaum\".
