This is a Vintage Revere Ware4 1/2 QtDutch Oven Stock Potthat is made of Stainless Steel and Copper Clad Bottom. Marked on the base with 1801 and Clinton Ill.

Revere Ware pots and pans are part of a legendary American tradition that predates the Revolutionary War. Immortalized as a True Patriot by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow in his famous poem \"Paul Revere\'s Ride\", Paul Revere was also a pioneer in American Industry. In 1801, Revere became a pioneer in the production of rolled copper, opening North America\'s first copper Mill. The Revere Ware logo found on these pots and pans includes the 1801 mark to this date.

In Great Vintage used condition with some minor scratches and scuffs all around, some small marks and tarnishing here and there as well. It does NOT come with a lid. It also has a slight wobble and does not sit completely flat, and one handle is a little loose.

I have cleaned this up for you with Ketchup, this is a good way to keep your copper clean, just put a good thick coating on the copper, let it sit and rub off, if it\'s really dirty it might take a couple or more times, but it is a Wonderful way to keep your copper shiny, and no chemicals!

Onall Vintage electrical items I sell, I have done normal testing on the item and will tell you if it worked when it was tested, but I make no guarantees on how long the item will work for, as they are old.

It is your responsibility to make sure these are safe for your home, old cords can sometimes be brittle or frayed & some are not polarized or have electrical mechanical switch problems due to wear and over use. To be absolutely sure they are safe, you should replace them. Also if you are planning on doing any Hard wiring, it is advisable that you get a qualified electrician or person that is skilled in wiring to do the job.
