This is a handy sized reference book for the ritual work of part of the York Rite of Freemasonry.
Historical background: Freemasonry is divided into degrees. The first three are administered by Craft lodges, either Free and Accepted Masons, or Ancient Free and Accepted. The ritual practices are slightly different in each, and states have their own preference.
After gaining his third degree, a Freemason in the USA can opt for advanced numbered degrees through Scottish Rite (4-32) or the three sections of the York Rite.
This book features part of the York Rite mysteries and was authorized for publication by the national organization. It includes many details of interest to scholars and others.
It features
The Illustrious Order of the Red Cross
The Knight of Malta conferral
To close Priory and resume Council or Commandery
Knight Templar Opening
