Dates:(Shot 1944, Printed 1944) w/ official type, notations and date stamps on verso.One of the most well known shots of the D-Day invasion, is this one known as the "Jaws of Death" shot by Robert F. Sargent of the United States Coast Guard.
Condition: Excellent print quality with light pitting/texture to surface as well as light dings and creases throughout. One crease in the upper right corner of image causes very slight emulsion damage. Bends and creases in margins and corners. Over all, very nice quality for its age.
