Robert Kondo Pixar Art Director Original Watercolor Signed Academy Award For Sale

Original Concept Art for new animated film by Robert Kondo and Dice TsutsumiThis is a watercolor study of a main character in Robert's new animated short film, The Dam Keeper (working title). This piece is titled Fox. He drew several sketches to explore different looks for the sets and characters. This short animated film, which he is creating with his fellow Pixar Art Director, Dice Tsutsumi, is about finding an unlikely hero in an unlikely place. They are in pre-production right now and hope to release the film in the summer. He's currently working on Pixar's 2013 release of Monsters University.Robert Kondo was born and raised in southern California, he graduated from the Art Center College of Design in 2002 with a portfolio of illustrations. His first job was with Oblique Strategies as a sketch artist working on film posters. He went on to work at Angel Studios for three months before moving to the bay area to work at Pixar Animation Studios.
