This is one easy growing shrub that bears flowers all over itself starting around Late Spring and continuing with flowers till around Mid Fall!! It also is disease resistant(I\'ve never had a problem with mine) and takes hardly any damage from pests! It attracts hummingbirds to visit your gardens year after year. It can be used as single shrubs to make a display point from all of its flowers when it starts to bloom or can be grouped together to form a background of beauty or as a privacy hedge! As far as pruning, you may have to prune to keep a hedge shape if that is your desire or to make it have a more bushier appearance(helps produce more blooms). It is drought resistant but should not be moved or planted in a different location once established, as it will wilt very quickly and most likely won\'t adapt well. The blossoms are also edible and can be used to add flair to salads or other dishes! :)
