Roseville Pottery Jardiniere Spanish Moss Pink 289-4:
I am gradually selling estate items for a friend. She has been going through her parents' things, and many of them date back another generation. I have been struck with how well taken care of these items are.
In this sale is a RosevilleJardinieremade by the Roseville Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The Pattern is Spanish Moss. It is 4.25" tall and 6.75" in diameter.
The pattern is embossed Spanish Moss hanging in clusters from branches. Colors are very good. The interior is pale pink as is the background color. There are two rounded triangular shaped handles. This was manufactured in the late 1930s. It is marked Roseville 289-4 on the bottom and has the Roseville Pottery Metallic sticker. The only thing I can see or feel that might be damage is just inside the unglazed rim of the base. I can catch that with my fingernail. It might be a small crack, but I think it could also be "as manufactured." You can see it in my photo of the base.
Will gladly combine shipping.
