You are offerding on a stunning piece of Roseville from the Pinecone line. Thus particular pitcher is marked with the Roseville trademark and mold number 485-10. It stands just a tad over 10.25\". This beauty has a very crisp mold and excellent glaze/color. I have included photos of a shallow nick to the base. You will also see a tiny spot just to left of the nick that appears to be a glaze skip or a teeny flake. These are visible when turned upside down. On the outside of the base there is an area where it appears there was a displaced chip or flake which was glazed over however the color is not a perfect match. This piece still displays very well despite the few minor imperfections!!
This piece is from the Bob and Sharon Huxford collection. It was part of their collection for many years. If you love Roseville, you likely recognize the name. Bob and Sharon co authored several Collectors books including The Collectors Encyclopedia of Roseville Pottery. We had the pleasure of working with Bob and Sharon for many years as they were vendors at our antique mall. In my opinion, they were experts on many collectibles including Roseville Pottery!!
