You are offerding on a Royal Doulton Bunnykins Bone China child\'s plate with an imaginative scene of rabbits bringing their mail to a red circular English post or letter box for delivery by elf-like mail men, one in the upper right corner making delivery on a beautiful lavender bird. The Bunnykins are properly dressed in red jackets. Even the tiny street mouse wears a red jacket. The border of the plate contains a series of traditional rabbits and green grasses. This plate measures 8 inches in diameter. The Bunnykins line was designed by Barbara Vernon Bailey who was an English nun. It was her water color paintings that inspired the collectible Bunnykin plates around 1936. She was also the daughter of one of the general managers of one of England’s Royal Doulton factories. This plate is charming and it is in excellent condition with no chips, no cracks and no restoration. There are light scratches on the front from very light use and do not detract from the beauty of this piece but are mentioned for accuracy. The mark on the back shown is three bunnies in red jackets carrying the Royal Doulton logo. Under the rabbits and logo appears English Bone China on the first line, \"Bunnykins\" and a registry mark on the second line and a copyright mark 1936 Royal Doulton (U.K.) on the third line.
