Description

This isa classiccharacter jug produced by the world famous and highly collectibleRoyal Doulton factory in Stoke on Trent, England.

This is thelarge version ofThe Walrus & Carpenter from the Alice In Wonderland series. Hewas designed byMax Henkandissued between 1965 and 1980. He is modelled inagreen jumper with a red neckerchief and black hat.The handle is in the form of thewalrus.

The backstamp shows the four registration marks, and this means that we candatethe jug to some time between 1965 and 1973.

The jug isfirst quality and in very good condition withnochips, crazingor restoration .

Any bright white marks to the jug are due to light reflection.

Surface Mail

Due to the unfortunate reputation of surface mail shipping we are afraid that we will not insure any item transported in this way. Any such delivery will be undertaken entirely at your own risk. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Insurance

Your item will be insured against loss or damage up to the value of £41.00.

Further comprehensive insurance will be offered at the end of the sale if the final value of the item is greater than £41.00.

Signed for deliveries can also be requested at the end of the sale at a cost of an additional 95p for UK buyers or £3.50 for overseas.

Exceptions - Customers from Argentina and the Russian Federation please note that we will only send items by Royal Mail Signed For and that the additional £3.50 charge will be added at the end of the sale.

Packing

All our items are packed securely, with a combination of chippings and bubble wrap to ensure safe delivery. We make a small charge for this but do not intentionally profit from this charge.

Combined Shipping

We will always combine shipping for multiple purchases to give you the cheapest possible delivery costs. Packages weighing up to 2kg will be sent via Royal Mail. Packages in excess of 2kg may be sent by courier if this is more cost effective for you.

If you have purchased multiple lots please wait for an invoice before making your payment.

Exceptions - Customers in Argentina and the Russian Federation please note that we will only combine shipping up to a maximum of 2kg. We will not ship by courier to these destinations.
