Royal Worcester Hand Painted Floral Pitcher Circa 1887, Great Condition For Sale
Up for your consideration is this lovely Royal Worcester Hand painted floral pitcher/creamer. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing, all colors are nice and bright, not worn. One side has nice bright orange flowers with blues and greens and the other side has dark pink flowers with the blues and greens.Cylindrical shape, figural gilded handle in gold, bottom rim in gold as well, the top has a pointed scallop shape in gold and the spout is outlined in gold color as well. There is very slight wear in the gold around the spout but other than that it'sin great condition. This pitcher measures 6.5 inches tall and measures 2 1/8 inches in diameter. Bottom is marked 1229 along with the Royal Worcester symbol and rd no 74149 and I believe artist's initials.and on the bottom rim very small is xo and I think the number 2??
