Hi Well, I am home, trying to get acclimated back into my time zone, and catching up on emails, etc. Thank you for keeping in touch and inspiring me to get going on our next sale. Mary (my sister) brought me enough beautiful and fun items to fill up my dining room table. As many of you know my parents collected, bought, and sold antiques for well over sixty (60) years. They loved and enjoyed every minute of their time with their special things.Theybelonged to many special collectors societies and clubs throughout those many years.Our dad passed on almost thirteen (13) years ago and we have been going through his stock and collections passing things onfor others to enjoy. I will try tokeep things in clusters/genres so it is easier for people to watch.Also, we have his notes so any information from those I will include in the listings.Okay here we for sale is this beautifuland unusualRoyal Worcester Ornate Artist Signed small Pitcher. Like the other pieces ofRW china listed for this sale, this onealso incorporates the muted more fall colors. However, the burgundy color is bold and heavily laced with thegold. There is a ton of gold on this piece especially on the handle and accenting the base. It stands almost 6" tall and just shy of 5" wide from spout to the edge of the handle. There is a lot going on with the markings on this piece. The Royal Worcester mark is in thepinkish color. The artist's mark is to the right of the mark. I tried to point to it in pic #10. Also, the number 23 is embossed into the clay.It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or issues in the glaze. The gold is pristine. Once again I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures. I am getting to know this new camera.
