August 19, 1922 Philately for Children charity, first and only day of use, available only within Moscow and cancelled with the special Philately for Children cancel. This example is an old Imperial 10k on 7k letter-card which has been overprinted Philately for Children and the date of August 19, 1922 with a Soviet wreath over the 10k on 7k stamp imprint. Added for franking is a 3k Imperial Arms charity stamp with the Philately for Children overprint. All the overprinted stamps were sold at five million times face with four-fifths going to charity. Old paper hinge remnants on reverse. Extremely scarce usage.
