It was made in 1895 by the Wm. Gilbert Clock Co. in Winsted, Conn. This is the No. 6 clock in the Lake series. The dial on your clock is not original.\"Gorgeous Lake No. 6 Black Forest style clock that the owner said comes from Germany. It works and keeps time great. The little spring chime needs to be re-attached but the gong works without it so it should be just fine once re-attached. Made by the Gilbert Clock Co. as seen on the paper label on the back.
