This EXQUISITE ENSEMBLE originally came off of a 12\"SIZE 2 BRU BEBE and undeniably makes a DRAMATIC PRESENTATION, worthy of yourmost PAMPERED and ELEGANT of French Bebes!
The outfit is mostly HAND MADE of all ANTIQUE FABRICSconsisting of a FULLY LINED pale blue silk long sleeved A-line couture dressfashioned in the BRU STYLE, an OVER THE TOP coordinating ice blue silk quiltedbonnet, and wonderful hand made Bru type LEATHER SHOES, all worthy of theFINEST French Milliner\'s shop!
The dress measures approximately 7 1/2\" long, hassleeves that are a total of 3 3/8\" long encompassing 2 1/2\" for thesleeve and 7/8\" for the shoulder seam, with a 3\" circumference aroundthe upper arm and 2 1/2\" around the cuff, an 8\" circumference aroundthe waist, 5 1/2\" around the neckline and 2 3/4\" across the back,attaching in the back with HOOK & EYE enclosures! The dress has ELABORATEDETAIL including contrasting colorful FLORAL RIBBON trim down the front andsleeves, a fancy FRENCH LACE collar, not one, but two large BOW BUSTLES in the backmade of complimenting cream moire taffeta and rich burgundy and blue wovenfloral ribbon, and fancy pleated LACE UNDERSKIRT peeping from underneath thehem!
The coordinating bonnet is made of QUILTED SILK that islight blue in color on the exterior and cream colored on the interior, and isslightly larger in scale compared to the dress, purposefully creating a veryDRAMATIC EFFECT for a small Bebe! The hat has many FINE ACCOUTREMENTSincluding a French blue silk CORDED TRIM around the entire frame complimentedwith ECRU LACE, a fancy large light blue SILK BOW embellishment on the top andcascading down the back, and blue silk RIBBON TIES! Including the back,the hat measures a total of 4 1/2\" tall and 3 1/4\" deep, with thehead opening measuring 3\" tall, 2 1/2\" across, 2 1/2\" deep and 51/2\" in circumference around the face!
The BRU TYPE shoes have all of the characteristics of thosethat were FACTORY MADE, constructed of the finest BLACK LEATHER with roundedtoes in the front, TINY BOW with SILVER BUCKLE embellishments on top, ANKLESTRAPS with tiny round black button and elastic loop enclosures in front, andTAN LEATHER bottom soles! The shoes measure 1 3/4\" long, 1/2\"across the heel, 3/4\" across the toe, and is 7/8\" high in the backwith a 2 1/2\" ankle circumference!
