POSTAGE IS FREE TO UK AND REDUCED INTERNATIONAL POSTAGEThis is an Edwardian novelty silver pin cushion, modelled as a fish with textured scales.The maker is Sampson Mordan and the pin cushion was hallmarked in Chester.Hallmarks show maker SM&Co, Lion Passant for sterling, Chester assay office mark and date letter H for 1908.Also shown is Registration mark 531005.Condition is excellent, there are no splits, tears or repairs to the silver. The cushion is original and is in very good condition.The only thing that stops me calling condition superb is where the silver is very slightly pushed in at edge of cushion. This can be seen in the enlarged photo 3.Length of fish is 43mm and height 25mm.This is a rare pin cushion by a prestigious maker. I have only lightly cleaned the pin cushion.
