MULTI-PLAYER / MULTI-TEAM

If a MULTI-PLAYER / MULTI-TEAM \"HIT\" card or item is pulled, it will be awarded to the buyer for this break who owns the valid team bonus rights to 51% or more of the teams listed on the card or item. If no single buyer meets that criteria, the card or item will be awarded via random.org among all buyers for this break who hold valid rights for the teams listed on the specific multi-player / multi-team card or item which may also include the breaker in the event of an unsold, unlisted or unpaid team(s).
A HIT is defined as a card with an autograph or a piece of material/fabric attached or numbered on-card as 1/1. Any autographed non-card memorabilia such as a ball or helmet or jersey or other item is automatically considered a HIT by nature of the item.
If two (2) or fewer MULTI-PLAYER / MULTI-TEAM BASE CARDS are pulled in a break, they will be awarded via random.org using the same method outlined above in the HITS section.
If three (3) or more MULTI-PLAYER / MULTI-TEAM BASE CARDS are pulled in a single break, breaker retains the right to award the entire lot as one group to a single team via random.org or to award via a similiar method as announced during the live event.

COLLEGIATE TEAM OR COLLEGIATE UNIFORM

If a player-specific ROOKIE card or item is pulled with a player in a college uniform and/or with a only a college team name on the front or back of the card or elsewhere on an item, it will be awarded to the team that initially drafted the player, even if the player was immediately traded to another team or to the team the player signed with as an undrafted free agent. Player must be a ROOKIE in the year the product was released to meet this criteria.
If a player-specific ROOKIE card or item depicts a player in a college uniform that was undrafted and also unsigned or who was drafted by an international league, the card or item will be randomized among all buyers for this break who hold valid team rights as of the payment deadline. This does NOT include cards that don\'t identify a specific player by name such as TE3 or QB1 or other XRC cards (scroll down for XRC info) for example. Player must be a ROOKIE in the year the product was released to meet this criteria.
If a card or item is pulled with an ACTIVE VETERAN player in a college uniform and/or with only a college team name on the front or back of the card or elsewhere on an item, it will be awarded to the team that they play(ed) for on opening day of the season for the year the product was produced. For example, if breaking a 2013 product, the card or item would go the team the player was with on opening day of the 2013 season. Player must be an ACTIVE VETERAN in the year the product was produced to meet this criteria.
If a card or item is pulled with a RETIRED player in a college uniform and/or with only a college team name on the front or back of the card or elsewhere on an item, it will be awarded to the team that they played for the longest except in the case where a pro team name is also listed somewhere on the card or anywhere on or with an item (which includes information written on and/or included with item packaging that designates a pro team). If there is more than one team with an equal length of playing years, it will be awarded via random.org amongst those teams. Player must be a RETIRED in the year the product was released to meet this criteria.
IF A BREAK LISTS A SEPARATE offerDING CATEGORY FOR \"ALL COLLEGIATE CARDS\", \"ALL XYZ CONFERENCE CARDS\" OR ALL \"XYZ UNIVERSITY CARDS\" OR SIMILAR, THEN ALL CARDS IN THE SPECIFIED GROUP WOULD GO TO THAT offerDING POSITION AND WOULD SUPERCEDE THE ABOVE NOTED COLLEGIATE RULES.

ALL-STAR UNIFORMS & INTERNATIONAL UNIFORMS

If an ACTIVE player is depicted in an All-Star uniform or an International uniform without a visible pro team name or logo printed on the card front or back or elsewhere on an item, the card or item will be awarded to the team the player was with on opening day of the year the product was produced. For example - if it\'s a 2016 product being broken, the card would go to the team who had the player on the 2016 opening day roster.
If a player was RETIRED in the year the product was produced and is depicted in an All-Star or International uniform without a visible pro-team name or logo printed on the front or the back of the card or elsewhere on an item (including accompanying packaging and materials for an item), the card or item will be awarded to the team that they played for the longest. If there is more than one team which has an equal length of playing years, it will be awarded via random.org amongst those teams.
If a ROOKIE player is depicted in an All-Star uniform or an International uniform without a visible pro team name or logo printed on the card front or back or elsewhere on an item, the card or item will be awarded to the team who originally drafted the player (even if he was immediately traded) or to the team he originally signed with as an undrafted free agent.
If an ACTIVE or RETIRED or ROOKIE player is depicted in an All-Star or International uniform AND the card or item lists a pro team name or depicts a pro team logo that isn\'t all-star or international, it will go to the team as listed or shown on the card or item. For example if Hank Aaron were depicted in an All-Star uniform but the printed team name is the Atlanta Braves or the Braves logo was visible on the card or in the picture, the card would be awarded to the Atlanta Braves as normal.
IF A BREAK LISTS A SEPARATE offerDING CATEGORY FOR \"ALL INTERNATIONAL CARDS\", \"ALL TEAM USA CARDS\", \"ALL ALL-STAR CARDS\" OR SIMILAR, THEN ALL CARDS IN THE SPECIFIED GROUP WOULD GO TO THAT offerDING POSITION AND WOULD SUPERCEDE THE ABOVE NOTED ALL-STAR AND INTERNATIONAL RULES.

RELOCATED AND/OR RENAMED TEAMS AND FRANCHISES

If a franchise has moved and/or been renamed, the card will be awarded to the current location or current name of the franchise.
BASEBALL examples: the Milwaukee Braves would go to the current Atlanta Braves, the Brooklyn Dodgers would go to the current Los Angeles Dodgers, the Seattle Pilots would go to the current Milwaukee Brewers and the Montreal Expos would go to the current Washington Nationals etc.
FOOTBALL examples: the Los Angeles Raiders would go to the current Oakland Raiders, the St Louis Rams would go to the current Los Angeles Rams, the Boston Redskins would go to the current Washington Redskins and the Houston Oilers would go to the current Tennessee Titans etc.
BASKETBALL examples: the Vancouver Grizzlies would go to the current Memphis Grizzlies, the Seattle SuperSonics would go to the current Oklahoma City Thunder, the Cincinnati Royals would go to the current Sacramento Kings etc.
The exception is the Charlotte Bobcats/Charlotte Hornets in basketball. When the New Orleans franchise announced in 2013 that it would rebrand itself as the New Orleans Pelicans, that orginal franchise subsequently returned the Hornets name, records, and official history (spanning 1988–2002) to the new/expansion Charlotte team (called the Charlotte Bobcats until that point).

TRADED PLAYERS

If a player has been traded and the new team is stated on the card front or back, it will be awarded to the new team as noted on card. If the player was traded but the card does not reflect any indication of the trade on the front or the back, then it will go to the team name that is identified on the card as normal.

RETIRED PLAYERS NOT ADDRESSED IN OTHER RULES & CLASSIFICATIONS FOR PLAYERS IN BREAKS OF OLDER PRODUCTS

If a card or item is pulled with a player who was RETIRED at the time the product was released and isn\'t already covered above in the collegiate or all-star/international sections or below in the MISC or REDEMPTION sections, it will be awarded to the team name that is printed on the front or back of the card or elsewhere on any item or on any materials that come with an item.
If there is no team name printed on the front or back of the card or elsewhere on the item or it\'s accompanying materials, it will be awarded to the team on the player\'s jersey in the photograph.
If there is no visible jersey or team name on the card or the item or the accompanying materials, it will be awarded to the team for which the individual played the longest.
If there are multiple teams with an equal number of years played, the card will be awarded via random.org amongst those teams.
When opening older products not produced in the current year: If the player is RETIRED now but was ACTIVE VETERAN in the year the product was released, it will be treated as an ACTIVE VETERAN player and subject to those rules.
When opening older products not produced in the current year: If the player is RETIRED now but was a ROOKIE in the year the product was released, it will be treated as a ROOKIE player and subject to those rules.
If the team FRANCHISE has RELOCATED and/or been renamed, that rule will apply.
If it is a REDEMPTION CARD, that rule will apply.
If it is a COLLEGIATE uniform or collegiate team name, that rule will apply.
If it is an ALL-STAR OR INTERNATIONAL uniform or team name, that rule will apply.
If a former player is listed on the card in the capacity of an announcer or celebrity or with another non-player designation, the MISC rule (scroll down) will apply.

REDEMPTION CARDS - PLAYER SPECIFIC

If a player-specific redemption card is pulled that identifies the player by name, but not by team, it will be awarded to the team identified by the official checklist released by the card manufacturer as found on the manufacturer\'s website.
If the official checklist has a typographical or other error that can be verified as a mistake by visiting the official NBA, NFL or MLB website, it will be awarded correctly despite any checklist errors.
If the official checklist is unavailable on the manufacturer\'s website or does not indicate a pro team name either, the card will be awarded as follows below.
If a redemption card is pulled for a ROOKIE in the year the product was produced and there is no official checklist designation available, it goes to the team who initially drafted the player, even if that player was immediately traded to another team or to the team the player signed with in the case of an undrafted free agent. Player must be a ROOKIE in the year the product was released to meet this criteria.
If a redemption card is pulled for an ACTIVE VETERAN in the year the product was produced and there is no official checklist designation available, it goes to the team which had the player on the roster on opening day of the season that corresponds to the product release date. For example, if breaking a 2015 product, the card would to go the the team who had the player on the roster on opening day of the 2015 season.
If a redemption card is pulled for a player that was already RETIRED in the year the product was produced and there is no official checklist designation available, it will be awarded to the team that they played for the longest. If more than one team has an equal length of playing years, it will be awarded via random.org amongst those teams.

REDEMPTION CARDS - NOT PLAYER-SPECIFIC (XRC etc)

Any redemption cards that are not player-specific - in other words the card does not identify a specifc player by name - will either be A) listed as a separate offerding category (for example \"All XRC CARDS\") or B) retained by the breaker. If there is no separate offerding category listed for sale in the break, then the breaker will retain the non player-specific redemption cards. This includes, but is not limited to redemption cards such as QB1, TE3, RB5 etc in the XRC series, the \"Field\" in Leaf Best of Football series, etc.

PANINI POINTS CARDS, PROMOTIONAL CARDS & BONUS PACKS

If a Panini Points card is pulled, it will be randomized among all buyers holding VALID TEAM OR PLAYER OR CATEGORY RIGHTS AT THE SCHEDULED START TIME for the live break and may include the breaker in the case of unsold, unlisted or unpaid teams/players/categories.
If an advertising and/or promotional card is included - with or without a printed redemption code on it - the breaker will keep the advertising or promotional card. For example, a card with a code that can be redeemed in a video game or an online game would be considered a promotional or advertising card, as would a card for a contest or sweepstakes or other prize (such as Panini Kid Reporter, Tristar Touchdown Treasures etc) and/or a card with a printed discount code and similar.
If a sealed BONUS PACK is included inside a sealed product - Kobe Anthology from Panini 2012 basketball products for example - any signature or material or 1/1 *HITS* pulled will be randomized among all buyers holding VALID TEAM RIGHTS AT THE SCHEDULED START TIME for the live break and may include the breaker in the instance of any unsold, unlisted or unpaid teams. All other cards from a the bonus pack that are not signature or material or 1/1 will be retained by the breaker.
If random.org awards a Panini Points card, advertising card, promotional card and/or a bonus pack HIT to a team or category that is unpaid, unsold or was otherwise unlisted for sale in the break, then the breaker will retain it.
For the purposes of this break, a BONUS PACK is defined as a sealed pack of cards that comes inside a sealed box of cards AND is from a different series of cards than the rest of the packs inside the same sealed box.
If a Bonus Pack was a gift with purchase or otherwise not a sealed pack located inside the sealed box of cards being opened in the break, then it will be entirely retained by the breaker. For example Topps Silver Packs, Panini Father\'s Day packs, Black Friday packs etc.
For the purposes of the Bonus Pack break, a HIT is defined as a card with a signature, a swatch of material or is numbered on-card as 1/1. Any cards from a Bonus Pack that do not meet that specific criteria are considered base cards regardless of numbering or coloring or otherwise and will be retained by the breaker.

UNPAID, UNLISTED AND/OR UNSOLD

Any unlisted - meaning not listed for sale in the break - unsold or unpaid teams and/or categories may be retained by the breaker. This includes, but is not limited to XRC redemption cards that do not identify a specific player by name, non-baseball cards in Topps Allen & Ginter, \"Field\" Rookie of the Year Predictor cards in Leaf Best of Football, Magic Johnson commemorative cards in Leaf Best of Basketball & similar cards, unsold teams and teams that are not paid prior to the scheduled start time of the live break etc. If you have a question about this, the time to ask is BEFORE you offer.

CELEBRITY/ANNOUNCER/COACH/MASCOT ETC

If a card or item is pulled that features a celebrity, an announcer, a coach, a mascot or other subject matter not previously noted AND it isn\'t part of a listed separate offerding category AND/OR breaker has not announced in the listing or verbally (or both) intent to retain the category prior to or at the start of the break, it will be awarded to the team designated on the front or back of the card or anywhere on an item or the materials accompanying an item. If there is no team designation on the front or back of the card or elsewhere on an item or on the materials that come with an item, then breaker will award the card(s) or item(s) via random.org among all teams in that break which may include the breaker via unsold, unpaid or unlisted teams. The exception is a signed custom jersey for a coach or player (see below).

CUSTOM JERSEY AND OTHER SIGNED MEMORABILIA

If a signed custom jersey is pulled without a team name imprint, but with the player name and in the team colors and with the number the player wore on that team, then it will still be awarded to the associated team. For example, a custom jersey with Sanders name and signature but with no team designation that is white with blue accents and the number 21, would go to the Dallas Cowboys since that matches their jersey color scheme and the number he wore while playing there.
If signed memorabilia (helmet, ball, jersey, glove, bat, etc) is pulled with no team name visible or designated anywhere on the item or on the package or any accompanying materials, it will be awarded to the team found on the checklist published on the manufacturer\'s website.
If no checklist is available on the manufacturer\'s website or checklist fails to list a team, the item will be awarded as follows:
ACTIVE VETERAN goes to the team the player was with on the first day of the season in the year the product was released.
ROOKIE goes to the team that initially drafted the player (or signed if an undrafted free agent) if the player is/was a ROOKIE in the year the product was released.
RETIRED goes to the team the player was with for the most seasons if the player is/was RETIRED in the year the product was released.
If the official checklist has a typographical or other error that can be verified as a mistake by visiting the official NBA, NFL or MLB website, it will be awarded correctly despite any checklist errors.
