Written by: Anne Votaw with Ann Louise Chandler and Susanna E Lewis.Following the 2011 publication of Sasha Dolls: The History (available separately), the authors
present an exciting new volume about Sasha Dolls. This hardcover bound
book of 144 pages features a large collection of knitting and sewing
patterns inspired by the 20-inch studio Sasha dolls' wardrobe, resized
to fit the serie girls, boys, toddlers and babies produced by
Gotz and Frido/Trendon. All of Sasha Morgenthaler's clothing themes are
represented, including the classic, farm, existential and ethnic styles.
The book includes 80 knitting and 60 sewing patterns, 30 embroidery and
smocking patterns, as well as four oversized (26 x 36 inches) pages of
full-size sewing patterns. More than 300 photographs of serie and studio
Sashas illustrate the clothing and provide inspiration for aspiring
seamstresses.
