Offered with andstarting atour usual low price is thisgenuine vintageMINIATURE figure of a mouse with buff matt glaze - one of the SCARCER 'tiny' models (model 1400), produced by SYLVAC (Sylvac closed in 1982) and now highly sought after.

SIZE - Pictures are MAGNIFIED to show detail, so please judge sizeby measurements as this may look larger than it actually isIt measures just 1 1/2 inches in height (3.8cms).

CONDITION IS REALLY EXCELLENT with NO DAMAGE, NO REPAIRS AND NO RESTORATION.Viewed witha strong magnifier, there is the expected light surface glaze crazing commensurate with age, but this is not really visible under normal conditions.

From manufacture (only mentioned for total accuracy)is a little mark on the leftside of the face(see 1st picture) - this is UNDER the finalglaze- andjust looks like a little smile!

MAKER'S MARK It is unmarked, which isusual for these very tiny pieces (no room on the bases), but it is a well knownand well documented Sylvac 'tiny' and is pictured in my 'Collecting Sylvac Pottery' book by Stella Ashbrook.
