Very hard to find RED polka dot trio from the Shelley factory in Fenton, Staffordshire. It is in the Henley shape, with gently scalloped edges, and the pattern number is 13743. You will find plenty of Pink and Blue versions, but the red polka dots are really quite scarce. This dates to circa 1953. The handpainted decoration consists of red polka dots on a snow white background, finished with a gorgeous dental gilt trim.The cup is normal tea cup size and is 6cm tall, the saucer is 14cm diameter, and the side plate is 15.5cm diameter.All three pieces are in good used condition with no chips, cracks, or restoration. There is varying degrees of wear and loss to the gilding from use, especially to the central ring of the saucer and side plate, and also to the tea cup handles.There are 6 trios available, so please choose the Qty before buying.
