This listing is for an exquisite Oil Painting by the artist Sicho. This work features a study of 3 Korean men in a traditional scene of leisure. In the foreground, the men are seated around a checker board, playing a match and smoking opium pipes. Their expressions are calm and focused, giving an air of both relaxation and refinement to the piece. The setting is minimal and suggests that they are in room within ahanok. In the background of this room is a depiction of a large piece of Panel Art featuring a Korean Red Pine and a subtle full moon obscured by the branches .This scene was rendered in the impressionist style, as evidenced by Sicho’s use of heavy texture, rich tones and unique expressions of light. If the sold item is not as described, it may be returned for a full refund (including shipping) when we are notified within 14 days of receipt. If the sold item does not meet the buyer’s expectations, but is as described, the buyer may return the item for a 15% restocking fee of the selling price only when we are notified within 14 days of receipt. The buyer will be responsible for return shipping costs and the original shipping fees will not be refunded.

All return items must be carefully packaged for transit in the same manner that they were originally received. All packages must have transit insurance equal to the selling price of the item and tracking unless otherwise authorized in writing by Baum Galleries prior to shipping.
