SIGNED & ANTIQUE Japanese bronze/cast IRON-metal tea KETTLE/pot TETSUBIN
An old Japanese bronze patinated cast iron teapot/kettle. With exception of the lid (in bronze with stylized finial), the whole outer surface has rough bark pattern with 2 embossed figures on each side: a snail dangling on a bamboo trunk trunk & a few bamboo leaves. Round & tapered handle, artist's engraved mark on the lid's interior.

- CONDITION:Excellent with scattered small white spots (water stains?), movable & slightly crooked finial.
