Signed Native Canadian Haida Indian 10k Gold Ring Jewellery British Columbia:
Hi there, welcome to Prairie Boys Antiques !!
Up for sale is an authentic signedHaidagold ring. We purchased this from an estate where the lady sold us a bunch of scrap gold. This ring weighs between 3-4 grams. She had purchased this ring from British Columbia somewhere, and she believed to have purchased it in the 1970-80's from the artist. She could not remember the artists name. Although it is signed. The initials read either, NS SN or HS SH. We researched this for weeks now and could not come up with a definite artist. The symbolism is believed to be a whale, but could also be the raven/bird.The ring tests between 10-14K gold. Most likely 12K. We tested it with JSP nitric acid solutions. The ring is around a size 8-9 and has a spot in the underside that could be resized without disturbing the symbolism or signage. The ring has some small surface scratches and is out of round a bit. Could be polished to remove scratches and rounded with ease. We took this to our jewellery buyer and he verified it was authentic Haidabut could not narrow down the artist. Very low start and. IF SOMEONE HAS SOME INFORMATION ON THE ARTIST PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO CONTACT US.Free shipping to the states (excluding Hawaii) and free shipping in Canada also. Please see the12 pictures and the zoom feature for conditions. Thanks

Thanks to another great member we may have some new leads on the provenence of this ring. The monogram could be a member of the "Storey" family and the symbolism is most likely an Orca(Whale.). Could be a beaver, not too sure yet. We will have some more information soon, he is contacting a friend and getting back to me. A big thanks to the er...
