Large Victorian silver plate mounted horse hoof candlesticks.
The shoes stamped, MOUNTED BY THE A & N C.S.Ld.
The Army & Navy Co-operative Society Ltd. were formed in 1871 by a group of army and navy officers.
In very good sound condition ready to use and display.
Good solid repairs to age splits on the mounts, the silver plate surface has worn through in places to the nickel/brass under metal.
Height 8,3/4" or 222mm, weight 1880grams.
