Lovely much older Ola Gorie Brooch which looks very much like a Rennie Mackintosh style to me featuring the Glasgow Roses central to the piece and fully hallmarked on the reverse as shown in the pictures for 1993 but badly in need of cleaning as its very dark and grey especially on the reverse and between the ladder effect of the mount but left for the new owner to decide

Comes in what my friend says is the Original Box but it is very tired and rubbed in places and grubby on the inner lid

the pin has lost some of its colour and the roller part of the catch is missing although the Brooch secures well when pinned in place but would be easy to have replaced

Not a design that I have seen before very unusual and distinct
