SILVER PINK BLACK GUILLOCHE ENAMEL AMETHYST ART DECO CIGARETTE CARD CASE 1929:

This is for abeautifully stylish, top qualitysterling silverart deco cigarette case from1929. The case is very unique, it is all solid sterling silverwithblack enamelto the top and sides anda deep lilac triangular panelon the top. It has a cut amethyst actually set into the lid and this forms part of thefold over catch that shuts the case. The catch is inset with little marcasites and there are matching marcasites to the side. The base of the casehas an engine turned pattern and inside it has an all over gold wash. It has a full set of English sterling silver importhallmarks for London 1929 along with a makers mark GSfor George Stockwell. There is also a nice little inscription which reads Hermione from Patrick 14-2-30. Its a really stylish looking old case and its in very good condition too, there are no major issues with it at all, just the very light wear you see in the pics, a few tiny very light littlenicks and scratches to the surface here and there, just very light general wear. It measures 78mm x 50mm and its 11mm deep.
