SINGER SLF 2 INDUSTRIAL MACHINE AGE ARTICULATING SEWING SHOP TABLE LAMP 1930\'s RARE CAST IRON BASE
- DESIGN: A utilitarian and versatile Singer SLF-2 Industrial Sewing Machine Shop Task Lamps circa 1930\'s. The lamps jointed arm angles to a wide variety of positions from the rare early solid cast iron mounting base via a tall extending support rod and unusual burly ball joint. Manufactured of solid cast iron/high carbon steel and Bakelite throughout and extremely well engineered and machined. Manufactures markings are faintly evident on the Bakelite shade housings.
- CONDITION: This unique lamp is in excellent original condition, completely intact andfully functional. Just mild finish wear and age with no damage or repair issues aside from a hairline crack in the switch housing cover (this part is fully intact and screws into the actual socket housing so there is no functional impact from the crack). Original Bakelite shade is very clean overall and complete with glass lens which is equally as clean but does have a chip on its interior side edge. Original integrated power switch and socket has been inspected and is functional and safe throughout, cord has been replaced with braided cotton wrapped insulated wire.
- DIMENSIONS: The lamps general dimension in its shown position is 20\" tall with a width of 12\", the shade is 3\" diameter…NEW filament projection bulb IS included.
