Offered for sale are fantastic vintage baby dresses. They were mine when I was a baby, 1969. They have been carefully stored over the years. They have been laundered and the condition is very good. These are truly charmingdresses that could be used for a baby or a large baby doll. Some are hand-sewn and some manufactured.#1 light pink. It was made by my grandmother, who was a professional seamstress. It has a peter pan collar trimmed with delicate lace. There are two tiny pearl buttons on the bodice. There is a ribbon with a pink rose bud. The skirt has the tiniest pleats I\'ve ever seen. Very understated and classy dress. Buttons up the back with 4 buttons. I\'m unsure of the type of fabric.It measures 8 inches across the front shoulders and from top of the shoulders to the bottom hem measures12 inches.#2 Light pink. It has an interesting vintage-looking flower pot applique (there is a teeny spot of white felt missing from the flower pot) . It zips up the back. Fabric is boucle - 78% cotton, 22% rayon. It measures 9 inches across the front shoulders and from top of the shoulders to the bottom hem measures13.5 inches. #3 Light blue. My grandmother was a professional seamstress and made this dress. It has a Peter Pan collar. Sleeves, front and hem and an exquisite ivory lace. There is a decorative and unusual embroidered ribbon trim sewn on the front. The lace has separated from the trim on one side, but can be re-sewn. I won\'t attempt this repair, but leave it up to the buyer. 3 buttons on the back. Fabric feels like lightweight cotton to me, but not certain. It measures 7\" across the front shoulders and from top of the shoulders to the bottom hem measures 9.5\". #4 Light blue. Beautiful hand-embroidered rose buds, tiny pleats, and two charming bows. The blue is a bit brighter and clearer than it appears in the pix. Unsure of the fabric because there\'s no label. Measures 8\" across front shoulders, and from top shoulder to bottom hem 12.5\".
#5 Light butter yellow - much brighter than it photographed. It has an interesting vintage-looking grape vine applique (there is a teeny brown spot on one of the grapes) . It has a peter pan collar trimmed with green. I\'m unsure of the fabric because there is no label. Two buttons on the back. It measures 8.5 inches across the front shoulders and from top of the shoulders to the bottom hem measures13.5 inches.#6 White - beautifully embroidered with pink thread. It has a little lamb, pink daisies, and pink thread on the smocking. It has tiny pleats, a peter pan collar, and a little bow. I\'m unsure of the fabric because there is no label, but it\'s very soft. It\'s missing three buttons on the back, but these are easily replaced. It measures 7 inches across the front shoulders and from top of the shoulders to the bottom hem measures11 inches. Tiny - for a newborn or small doll.
