This is a smart silver plated water/juice jug.

It is a good sized jug which holds 2 ½ pints. It stands 8 and 7/8” high, is 7 ½” wide and 5 ¼” deep.

There are a couple of small dents to the foot and two dinks to the main body.

The plate work is showing its age with small areas of thinning and spotting to the body.

The plate on the handle is worn.

Despite this, it is a very nice piece.

POSTAGE/SHIPPING CHARGES

All items must be signed for on receipt and the additional charge for this service is included in the price quoted.

I use the Recorded Delivery Service for UK destinations and the International Signed For Service for destinations outside the UK.

Wherever possible, I combine items for cheaper postage/shipping. However for destinations outside the UK, this is only cost effective if the packed weight is 2 kilos or less. Where the combined packed weight would exceed 2 kilos, separate parcels works out as the cheaper option.

The postage/shipping prices quoted include all postage fees and the cost of packing materials.

If I find when I post/ship the item that I have over-estimated the cost, I will refund the difference. If I have under-estimated the cost, I do not pass the additional costs on.

Included in the listing are my charges for posting and packaging within the UK. This excludes the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

I have included in the listing the airmail charges for shipping and packaging to the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan for which the anticipated delivery time is 5 working days..

For all other destinations outside the UK, please ask me for a quote on both airmail shipping costs and delivery times before you offer, as this saves confusion later.

INSURANCE

I take every care to ensure that the item is securely packed so that it arrives in one piece, see my response.

If an item is lost or damaged, providing the item has the appropriate insurance, I will pursue the claim for compensation on the buyer’s behalf.

UK Destinations

The price I charge includes insurance against loss and damage, up to a value of £46.

Destinations outside the UK

The price I charge includes insurance against loss only, up to a value of £46.

PAYMENT

Payment should be made within 7 days of the sale closing.

If payment has not been made within the 7 days and the buyer has not contacted me, I will make an unpaid item report to .

UK buyers

I am happy to accept payment by either cheque, postal order or PAYPAL.

Non UK buyers

I am only able to accept payment via PAYPAL.

DESPATCH TIMES

I aim to despatch the item within 2 working days of the payment having cleared.

I email the successful buyer with the date the item is being dispatched and I include the tracking number on the record.

RETURNS

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase I am happy to make a refund, excluding the postage/shipping cost, provided the item is returned to me in its original packing, within 7 days of receipt.

All I ask is that you email me beforehand, to let me know what the problem is.
