This massive vintage handcrafted ring measures 23.5mm (15/16\") diameter x 13mm (1/2\") tall in profile tapering to 3mm in back, marked TAXCO 925 sterling silver, signed SMZ with an Eagle stamp. Ring centers a 17mm faceted round smoky quartz of approx. 15cts held in a multi-prong, tall swirled bonnet-like mount. Shank is thick and polished.
